Bitumen VG-40

Bitumen VG-40 is a grade of refined bitumen that is obtained by vacuum aeration of the distillation tower and is divided based on its viscosity. VG40 bitumen is used in areas under high pressure such as intersections, near tolls, and truck parking instead of old bitumen with a permeability of 40.30. Due to the high viscosity of this type of bitumen, hard bitumen can be produced to improve tensile strength and other problems related to higher temperatures and heavy traffic loads.
